Dr. Garg wanted to care for children long before he attended medical school. Once he completed medical school he attended the Case Western Reserve University Program at MetroHealth. In his third and final year, he was honored to be offered the role of Chief Resident.
Passion for helping sick children led Dr. Garg to pursue a Pediatric Emergency Fellowship at Children's Hospital of Michigan, one of the busiest pediatric emergency departments in the nation. After seven years of training he accepted a position at Dayton Children's Hospital, a level 1 trauma center.
Columbus has been home to Dr. Garg and his family for over ten years. He enjoys the hiking trails around central Ohio with his wife and riding bike-trails throughout the city with his 13-year-old son. Playing catch with his dog Copper and taking her for walks keeps Dr. Garg moving even when he's home.
Dr. Garg, a board-certified pediatrician with training in pediatric emergency medicine, has been working in emergency rooms at children's hospitals for over a decade.
